The white paradise

Santa Caterina, just 13 km from Bormio, is a small corner of paradise enveloped in the Stelvio National Park.
The 50 km of slopes and tracks at altitudes between 1700m and 3000 m have often been the scene of major Italian and international ski competitions. The feather in the cap is the “Deborah Compagnoni” Ski slope, inaugurated on the occasion of the 2005 Alpine Ski World Cup and named after the ski champion who was born in Santa Caterina. The ski area covers two mountainsides and can be reached by means of the new 8-seater gondola and the new 4-seater chairlift. Enjoy alpine skiing (also at nighttime) cross country skiing, snowboarding, telemark, snowshoeing and ice skating.
During the summer months you can go on excursions on the many trails and paths of our mountains, mountain biking, mountaineering, nordic walking and horse riding while surrounded by natural and totally unpolluted breathtaking landscape.
